Dear Family and Friends,
We are so pleased Brett is running for State Treasurer. He's given the largest part of his adult life in working for the betterment of his community or country - as a Marine, as official in the US Treasury or as a district attorney. He has chosen to continue his service by running for Colorado State Treasurer. We couldn't be any prouder of his service or to be his family.
As we approach another election cycle and steel ourselves for ever present partisanship that immobilizes our government. A long time respected Republican, former Connecticut Representative, Christopher Shay, noted recently that we have a whole generation of citizens who have never witnessed their government function effectively or in a bipartisan way. We look forward to watching Brett engage constituents and his competitors in the thoughtful, respectful dialog that will be aimed at restoring dignity to our democratic process.
We will be supporting and voting for him, not because he's family, but because he's immensely capable; has impeccable credentials; and believes in honoring his community through ethical service, is committed to solving problems by seeking the best solutions without regard for their partisan origin.
We would love for you to come and hear his vision for his campaign and his commitment to solutions oriented service. Please join us at Four Seasons Farmers and Artisans Market for a Sunday brunch, 10-12 noon, October 1, 2017. 7043 W. 38th Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO. Please RSVP to Facebook events, or 303-808-8504 or by email at email@example.com. If you could respond by 9/29/17, we would appreciate it.
